VIBROTHERAPY
Vibrotherapy involves the use of mechanical oscillations, either through whole-body platforms or targeted handheld devices, to stimulate muscles and joints, causing rapid muscle contractions. It aims to increase bone density, improve strength, and enhance circulation.
It may be used for:
- Lower back pain
- Joint pain
- Sciatica
- Post-stroke rehabilitation, especially for muscle activation and circulation
- Sports injuries, including muscle strains, recovery, and stiffness
- Peripheral neuritis, for nerve stimulation and circulation
- Lumbar spondylosis, for pain relief and improved mobility
- Nerve compression, for symptom relief and circulation support
- Spinal injuries, with careful use for pain and stiffness management
- Postural conditions such as scoliosis, kyphosis, and lordosis, to help reduce stiffness
- Work-related musculoskeletal conditions
- Generalised muscle weakness, for muscle stimulation
- Whiplash, for pain and stiffness reduction
- Frozen shoulder syndrome
- Tendinitis, capsulitis, and bursitis, for pain and inflammation reduction
- Spinal stenosis, for symptom relief and improved circulation
- Muscle spasms, due to its relaxation effect
- Cervical spondylosis and disc herniation, for pain relief and improved mobility
- Rheumatoid arthritis, for reducing joint stiffness
- Muscle atrophy, where stimulation may help slow progression
